OHSAS 18001:2001 - POLICY STATEMENT

Trac-Wheels (M) Sdn Bhd recognizes its responsibility to ensure the safety and health of its employees, clients, port users and visiting members of the public and in fulfilling this duty will comply with the legal requirements of Occupational Safety and Health Act 1994, other related legislations and non-legal requirements that apply to our operations.

We strive to achieve the highest standards of occupational safety and health, as far as practicable, in accordance to our policies as follows:

1. Establish safety as our first priority goal.

2. Ensure that all employees are provided with relevant information, instruction, training and supervision appropriate to the scope of work in its port operations.

3. Provide and maintain workplace and Standard Operation Procedure to prevent employees, clients, port users and visiting members of the public from being exposed to risks and hazards.

4. Regularly consult with employees on any safety issues that may adversely affect their health and work safety.

5. Continuously review safety management system in order to meet or exceeds best practice in the port industry.

All key personnel from the top management, managers and supervisors are responsible to ensure, with their respective level of control that Safety and Health Procedures are adhered to.
